Dr. Kellerstein is a fully-trained specialist, with degrees in orthodontics, dentistry, and human physiology. He graduated ranked #1 in his dental class, winning the Dean's Gold Medal for highest achievement in dental school as well as awards in orthodontics, oral diagnosis, radiology, and clinical dentistry. Upon completion of his dental studies, he was selected for a prestigious residency at Sunnybrook Hospital, where he obtained advanced training in dental surgery, anesthesia, and oral pathology. His particular love of orthodontics led him back to the University of Toronto to complete an additional 3-year master's degree, specializing in the Graduate Orthodontic Department. He received advanced training in the use of braces, Invisalign, lingual braces, and a wide variety of cutting-edge orthodontic techniques. Dr. Kellerstein lectures and instructs orthodontics at the University of Toronto, both at a graduate and undergraduate level. He has also lectured orthodontic hygienists, lab technicians, and speech pathologists about innovations in the field of orthodontics. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honours Dental Society, and the Alpha Omega Dental Society. Dr. Kellerstein lives in North York with his wonderful wife, Jennie, and when not at the office or teaching he is kept happily busy with their four children.
